God’s Timing
God’s timing is always just right. It had been on my heart to visit some folks out at Arock. One of them was Donna, a recent widow who is rather destitute. Wood is her only source of heat for the winter, and she was completely out. Another family graciously offered some of their supply.
Well, Friday was a beautiful warm fall day, and the Lord burdened my heart to go out there and check out this wood supply. The family just happened to be home and cut up a pickup-load of wood, which I delivered to Donna. She was greatly thankful and deeply touched. She kept saying, “I don’t know how to thank you.” I was able to share with her this provision was from God – “Just thank Him; He loves you and cares for you.”
That night, the temperature dropped to freezing, and it has been snowing all week. But Donna has been warm and cozy thanks to the kindness of people who love the Lord. God’s timing was just right.
