God’s timing is always just right…
Randy G. began showing up right from the start at the family night we hosted on the Colville Indian Reservation. He was in his early 30s, but while other adults visited with each other, he would get a seat right there with the little kids and watch the movie intently with them, always laughing when they did. He didn’t seem like he would be interested in Bible study or other “serious” spiritual things, so I treated him more like one of the little kids than an adult.
God has provided food in ways that just continue to amaze me. Over the past months people have shared with us 300 pounds of onions; 100+ pounds of brown and red potatoes; 150 #10 cans of food; one whole beef; over 100 ears of freshly picked corn; bushels of peaches, apples, tomatoes and cucumbers; extra from home canning; money specifically for food; and more.
Doing services at the local nursing home on Sunday afternoons often causes me to have mixed emotions.
“There are few things more exciting than to see someone ‘get it,’ for them to catch a glimpse of the power of the Gospel and grasp the fact that God is calling them to bring that good news to people who haven’t heard,” says mission partner Ronnie Davis, describing the heart of Kaleo, the new short-term missions ministry he and his wife, Jenny, direct.
