A retired AMF missionary, aged 93, continues to hold four weekly Bible studies in nursing homes. In an area that is 16% evangelical, we need a missionary to help her reach these communities for Jesus and expand the outreach.

Various ministry opportunities are available, and the area has the potential for growth through new outreaches and summer camp involvement. A nearby missionary is available for encouragement and team building. The area would include Grainger, Hamblen, and Jefferson Counties near the Great Smokies in eastern Tennessee.

Fifty-three percent of the residents in this area attend some kind of church. Many claim to know God but lack a personal relationship with Christ and have not been discipled in a growing Christian life. Many opportunities exist to initiate new ministries of various types among the residents.
