Gentle Shepherd Ministries God@Work
This morning in my devotions from the Living Bible (paraphrase), I read from Ephesians 6, where it talks about our spiritual weapons. It says, “God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out.”
Please keep the following needs and praises in prayer. Thanks so much for doing so!
1. Continue to pray for the spiritual growth of the fifteen senior residents who recently trusted Christ as Savior at Oak Terrace Assisted Living in North Mankato.
2. Thanks for praying for my dad, Paul David. He still weak but cancer free!. Also, he’s taking heart medication, which is beginning to give him more strength.
3.I visited with a very sweet Christian senior lady named E.R. She told me she received some bad news physically. But, with a twinkle in her eye and a smile on her face, excitedly she said, “I’m going to soon be with Jesus!” Please pray for her.
4. I am pleased to announce a new nursing home ministry called “Mankato House Health Care Center,” where we will help Arne Kopishke provide Sunday church services for the residents. Arne’s done this for 25+ years!
