GSM’s GOD @ WORK
1. Thank you for praying for my dad, Paul David, who is now cancer-free (lymphoma) and with his current heart medication is regaining strength. Praise the Lord!
2. Please pray for our new ministry, which begins tomorrow morning at 8:45 a.m. at Minnesota Valley Health Care in Le Sueur, Minnesota. (For those outside of Minnesota, LeSueur was the “Valley of the Green Giant” for many years—-Green Giant vegetables were canned there.) I will begin a Sunday morning service there on the first and fourth Sundays.
3. On the 2nd-3rd Sundays of the month, beginning in October, we will begin a new ministry at Oaklawn Health Care in Mankato at 9:45 a.m. I will also be leading this service. Please pray!
4. Praise the Lord for new volunteers! We have two new pianists, three who will be helping teach and preach during Sunday services, and a visitation leader. We also have other new volunteers we are waiting to place in a facility.
5. Please pray for God to help get “Broken Chains” off the ground as Pastor Steven Hultengren and Mike Moffet will lead this support group for ex-inmates and their families.
6. PLEASE PRAY for additional leaders in facilities; we especially need volunteers with the ability to preach during a church service.
7. Please pray for our upcoming GSM Banquet, Tuesday, November 10, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at Applewood Restaurant. (No more January banquets after the terrible snowy night last year! Amazingly, 120 people still showed up. We had 150 signed up.)
8. Please pray the God will open churches for us to share GSM as we search for more volunteers, prayer partners, ans financial supporters.
