Charlie (not his real name) was young man we had about five years ago at camp who had a lot of potential for Christ.  He was enthusiastic and a natural leader with a good heart to serve.  Somehow in the year after he first came to camp, he was influenced by some rebellious kids, and the second year at camp he was rebellious.  He stopped coming after that and seemed to be headed down the all-too-familiar road of self-absorbed living.

Fast forward five years.  This fall, Fran had a singing group at the Christian school’s weekly chapel service, and guess what? Charlie was among them.  He had come back to Christ in college and was a short-term missionary with this worship group.  They had committed to a one-year outreach and were traveling all over the Northwest encouraging people in Christ.  He was excited to see Fran and reconnect with Shiloh Bible Camp.  Since his parents live in the area, there is a possibility that he could help us with worship in our summer camps.  God is faithful, and it is encouraging to see His power in Charlie’s life.
