American Missionary Fellowship

Dale and Marlene Cardwell live in Salem, Oregon and have served with AMF since 1975, becoming senior missionaries in 2004. Through the years Dale and Marlene have been involved in all types of missionary work, and Dale now is pastor of a church that is more than 100 years old. It is a small Baptist church affilated with AMF in Salem. Dale calls it “a little country church in the middle of town.” He still leads Bible studies at retirement centers and is serving as an area coordinator for AMF. Marlene is leading a ladies’ Bible study, and they both teach Sunday school classes.

Yenner & Alice Wuanti envision planting churches in Illinois, Iowa, and Indiana. Yenner says, “Just a very few of the Liberians here are really finding a home in the local churches, so a ministry like what we have is really, really necessary in reaching those kinds of people.”

Rebecca Parker, daughter of AMF missionaries Rick and Marie Parker, lives in Bridgeport, Nebraska and has been a candidate since January 2009. She grew up with AMF and has experience in every level of camping, VBS, children’s Bible clubs, etc. She currently works as a substitute teacher. Rebecca would like to do children’s ministry with AMF.

Carrie Morrison lives in Mesquite, Texas and has been a partner with AMF since February 2009. She has been working with AMF missionaries Joe and Lindsey Anderson in Dallas, serving inner-city kids in the Kids for Christ program and teens in the Teens for Christ program. She is also developing new areas and establishing new works for children and youth.

Amy Huggins, daughter of AMF missionaries George and Alice Huggins, lives in Indiana, Pennsylvania. She has been a candidate since February 2009. Amy grew up in Spain, where her parents were missionaries before joining AMF. She deeply desires to see people come to a saving faith in Jesus and to help them grow in living out their faith. In addition to ministering to international students, Amy hopes to develop a camping program for people with disabilities.
