Motivation for Founding AMF
The foundation of Adezungwen Memorial Foundation stands on two pillars- the Word of God and the inspiring example of a Godly sister - Ann Adezungwen. ... ‘The LORD has told us what is good. What He requires of us is this: to do what is just, to show constant love, and to live in humble fellowship with our God. To take care of orphans and widows when they suffer and to remain uncorrupted by this world’ (From James 1:27 and Micah 6:8) Sister Ann Adezungwen modelled this injunction from the word of God. In her life time, many people including the founders of this Foundation received love, compassion and opportunities that changed the course of their lives forever. Adezungwen memorial Foundation exists to model the love of Jesus Christ in deed and word. Primarily we target our intervention to women and children with few economic and education opportunities; and those with other special physical needs. We freely offer the gospel of Jesus Christ to all who want to hear about this love of Jesus that motivates us.
Our Spiritual Foundation
- The love of Jesus Christ compels us to offer opportunities to the poor and vulnerable. We believe that this is modeling Jesus Christ in deeds ...
- We offer the good news of salvation to the spiritually poor. For us, this is modelling Jesus Christ in words
- We believe that as we lift Jesus in word and deed, He would ‘draw all men’ unto Himself
- We believe that human beings are created in the image of God; and they deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. They can be involved in finding solutions to poverty
